XXVIII EMS Summer School 2011

The EMS Membrane School is organized by the local Organizing Committee:

  • Department of Chemical and Process Engineering (Warsaw University of Technology),
  • Faculty of Chemistry (Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun)
  • Warsaw Agriculture University.

    The scientific program of the School will include over 20 hours of high-level lectures given by the invited international experts in the field of membranes and membrane technology.

     

  • The following topics will be covered:
  • Theoretical approaches to membrane transport
  • Preparation and modification of polymeric/inorganic membranes
  • Characterization of membranes and membrane processes
  • Membrane fouling – visualization, monitoring and prevention
  • Chosen practical applications of membrane processes – state of the art and perspectives
